Alderney Connect was built to make life easier — for locals, visitors, and new residents. From finding a plumber to booking a table for dinner, or discovering what’s happening this weekend, we brought it all together into one simple, accessible site. In just 30 days, we had over 12,000 page views and more than 2,000 different people visit the site — and over 50 days, we grew our Facebook page to 420+ followers and Instagram to 200+, all with less than £50 total spent on ads across Meta and Google.
Alderney has so much to offer, but finding the right information used to be harder than it should be. We wanted to change that. With Alderney Connect, businesses can reach new customers, jobseekers can find opportunities, and the community can stay in the loop. It’s a tool designed to support the island, helping everyone feel a little more connected — and the early response shows how important that connection is.
And this is just the beginning. As we grow Alderney Connect, we’ll be adding even more features to make it even more useful — more updates, more ways for businesses to stand out, and more reasons for people to check back daily.
